Story
American Summer follows an older Mikey as he looks back on a memorable summer from his childhood. During that unforgettable time, he meets the girl of his dreams and earns a place on the baseball team, while coping with the painful uncertainty of his U.S. Army father being missing overseas.
Blending humor, baseball, summer romance, family emotions, and the adventures of a heroic puppy who helps save the day, the film delivers a heartwarming coming-of-age story for the whole family.
